dads mum ada ...17...soap wrapper...11 people in house....no 11...john h reemes....

  1. Wow...what are all these then?? I can read Harry and Janet Aspinall at 4 the village. Is that Arthur Chamberlains family? Who is John H Reemes? I know so little about Dad's side of the family.

  2. Well done you Rob for finding out all this info, or did you already know some of it? I've managed to read it all clearly now as Dave told me how (me and computers..argh!, thanks Dave), and I'm recognising surnames, but not sure who all the individuals are?? I knew Dad's middle name was a surname passed down, but who from? Am I reading it right - was there 11 people living at the same address or was that spread over a period of years? I need to go back and study it some more....but it's brilliant seeing all that Rob.

  3. ...all living in same house...they got married in 1906....uncle Les was born 1911...when cencus had grandad John living in a coachhouse in townfield lane..trying to find more about him so far justknow he was born in 1983 in Newcastle...dad must have got Reemes from that chap in the Aspinall house...our great granddad Samuel Cartwright Aspinall born 1849...died one year before our granddad...Sam was a joiner and lived in a private house always in Bebington..Rob
