Harry & Nancy married in India in 1946.

Mum was born there and lived in The Nilgiri Hills and Dad served in the army with the 3rd Gurkha Battalion. A few months after their wedding, they sailed aboard the Empress of Scotland to live in England. Harry was returning home to Port ‘Sunlight from the Nilgiris’ with his new wife Nancy.

I've created this blog so I can tell their story and share it with family and friends. With plenty of old photos, letters, and happy memories, I’m sure Harry & Nancy’s story will be of interest to all who knew them and even those that didn’t.
